You configure a pilot for co-management.
You add a new device named Device1 to the domain. You install the Configuration Manager client on Device1.
You need to ensure that you can manage Device1 by using Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager.
Solution: Define a Configuration Manager device collection as the pilot collection. Add Device1 to the collection.
Does this meet the goal?
A. Yes
B. NO Answer: A
Explanation:
Device1 has the Configuration Manager client installed so you can manage Device1 by using Configuration Manager.
To manage Device1 by using Microsoft Intune, the device has to be enrolled in Microsoft Intune. In the Co-
management Pilot configuration, you configure a Configuration Manager Device Collection that determines which
devices are auto-enrolled in Microsoft Intune. You need to add Device1 to the Device Collection so that it auto-enrols
in Microsoft Intune. You will then be able to manage Device1 using Microsoft Intune. Reference:

Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) helps to run Android apps available in Amazon Appstore (with over 50K apps) on a Windows 11 device. Earlier limited to the US, the platform now supports more countries and regions including the UK, Canada, Italy, Japan, Germany, France, etc. While the default settings for WSA might work for some users, it may not be suitable for many users especially when it comes to using system resources (like Memory). But thankfully, there is a way to change how Windows Subsystem for Android consumes resources on a Windows 11 PC, and this post will help you with that.
There are two ways the Windows Subsystem for Android can use the system resources for mobile apps in Windows 11 OS. These are:
As needed: This is the default setting. With this setting enabled, WSA is opened when needed. Hence, it uses system resources only when mobile apps are in use on your system. The apps may take a bit longer to start
Continuous: With this setting, you can keep Windows Subsystem for Android open in the background to always be ready for opening the mobile apps. As WSA is always running, system resources are always in use (even if there is no mobile app opened). This setting helps to start apps quickly.
If you find that the default setting for Subsystem resources is not optimal or WSA uses system resources unnecessarily, then you can switch to a different setting.
Before you proceed further, install Windows Subsystem for Android if you haven’t already. A minimum of 8GB RAM is required and 16GB RAM is recommended to run Windows Subsystem for Android. In addition to that, the Virtual Machine Platform setting must be enabled on your Windows 11 system. If your system doesn’t meet the minimum RAM and other device requirements, then it won’t run.
The steps to change how Windows Subsystem for Android consumes resources in Windows 11 are as follows:
Press the Start button to open the Start menu
Click on All apps
Scroll down the list of available apps
Click on the Windows Subsystem for Android Settings
The Settings window will open with the System section
Click on the drop-down icon available for Subsystem resources
Select the Continuous option if you want to keep the Subsystem always running. If your system has enough memory and it doesn’t affect the performance of other applications, you can select this setting. Or else, keep the As needed option selected.
That’s it!
Change Memory Allocation for WSA
In the latest version, you can configure how much memory to assign for Android apps on Windows 11
Open Windows Subsystem for Android
Click on System > Memory and performance
Choose the memory allocation – 2GB, 6GB, or 16GB
Turn off the Turn off Windows Subsystem for Android setting.
On the restart, your system will assign the amount of memory you have specified.
Assign custom memory allocation for WSA
In the latest version, you can set a custom memory size for WSA, use these steps:
Open Windows Subsystem for Android
Click on System > Memory and performance
Choose Custom in the Memory Allocation setting
Write the amount of RAM to assign for WSA and click Apply.
Turn off the Turn off Windows Subsystem for Android setting.
On restart, your system will assign the custom memory you have specified.
Other important settings for Windows Subsystem for Android
Apart from changing the Subsystem resources setting, there are some other important settings for WSA that you can customize as per your needs. These are:
Enable/disable smooth resize for installed apps, toggle keyboard compatibility, use keyboard keys as Gamepad buttons, tap with arrow keys, aim with arrow keys, and use other available configuration options for installed apps. Access the Compatibility section of the Windows Subsystem for Android Settings app to use such options. You can also reset all the configured options at once with the Reset all button
Files: This is a very useful option present under the System section that helps to access saved files (say images, documents, video files, etc.) from your mobile apps. You can also save a copy of a file to your Windows 11 PC using the Open with right-click menu and selecting the Using Windows default option
Graphics and Performance: This setting helps to select GPU for Android apps. By default, the Dynamic option is set that uses GPU that Windows is currently using
Turn on the Advanced networking to connect Android apps to other devices on the same network
If apps won’t install or keep crashing, then restart the Subsystem using the Windows Subsystem for Android Settings app and try again. You need to press the Turn off button available under the System section of that app to do this. On the other hand, if you are unable to start Windows Subsystem for Android on your Windows 11 system, then first access the Windows Features using the Search box. After that, enable or turn on Hyper-V, the Virtual Machine Platform, and Windows Hypervisor Platform, and restart your system.

Windows is the predominant operating system in the world today. But even Windows has issues. Many people feel Windows is unnecessarily large, heavy on resources, and has questionable privacy policies. For this reason, a custom Windows ISO like Tiny11 is quite popular among users who prefer a lightweight, stripped-down version of Windows 11. But custom ISOs like AtlasOS, ReviOS, Ghost Spectre, and others, come with their own problems. This guide takes a look at those issues.
Tiny11 is a modified ISO image created from the base Windows 11 image sourced from Microsoft. It aims to remove the clutter and bloatware from a standard Windows 11 image that isn’t necessary for a comfortable experience.
Some prominent apps that Tiny11 doesn’t feature are Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Teams, News, Maps, and Sound Recorder. However, it retains more important features, like Core isolation, Microsoft Defender, and components like Windows Terminal, PowerShell, and more.
While custom Windows ISOs popularly bypass standard Windows 11 requirements, like TPM, and allow less powerful systems to run Windows 11 better, they aren’t without legitimate concerns. Before you install and run a custom Windows ISO, there are six important issues you should know about:
1. Malware: whether intentionally or by accident, malware can easily make its way to your system when downloading a custom Windows ISO from a questionable source. Some custom ISOs don’t even have important apps like Microsoft Defender to protect you from security threats.
2. Keyloggers: if your custom ISO has keyloggers integrated into it, it can easily capture your sensitive information, like credit card info, emails, messages, and more. Your privacy could be destroyed completely.
3. Mining: some custom Windows ISOs may take advantage of your system’s resources for mining or other activities. Being an OS-level exploit, you may never know that your system’s been compromised.
4. No Updates: as custom Windows ISOs aren’t officially supported by Microsoft, you won’t receive any automatic updates, potentially leaving your system unprotected from security threats.
5. Device bricking: you never know what crucial component or feature could be missing from a particular custom ISO. This could potentially brick your system completely in a worst-case scenario.
6. Legality: distributing custom Windows ISOs occupies sort of a grey legal area. You won’t even find these custom ISO websites having the ISO files for obtain – just a guide or instructions to create one. Porting features to a Windows version not originally included is also not permitted by Microsoft.
Other Custom Windows ISOs
The idea behind using a custom Windows ISO like Tiny11 is to benefit from a lighter, faster OS without sacrificing too many important Windows features. Taking this idea forward, many other developers have come up with other custom ISOs to benefit specific use cases like gaming.
AtlasOS claims to provide users with higher FPS, lower latency, and an overall snappier OS experience. Similar to this are other custom ISOs like ReviOS, ggOS, and KernelOS, to name a few, that are trusted by users who want to boost gaming performance on Windows 11, especially on older systems.
Despite some benefits, custom Windows ISOs aren’t officially supported by Microsoft. Hence, you can never be completely sure of what a particular developer has removed – or worse, added to the ISO, no matter what the website claims.
Additionally, you need to trust the source you obtain the custom Windows ISO from, without really knowing what changes the image went through before being uploaded to that source. In the worst-case scenario, the file you obtain may just be a virus masquerading as a Windows ISO.
Is a Custom Windows ISO Worth It?
From removing somewhat unnecessary apps, like Xbox and Sound Recorder, to eliminating crucial security features, like Defender, custom Windows ISOs are never 100% safe. You always assume a certain degree of risk when playing around with a custom ISO.
In the worst case, it’s not just your Windows installation you’re risking, but your financial information, system resources, and privacy. Hence, I recommend using a custom Windows ISO only on a system that you’re comfortable risking, ideally an older device without any sensitive information.
As long as you have a fairly exact device, there may be minimal performance improvements to gain by installing a custom Windows ISO, even in gaming. It’s not recommended to put your system at risk for a small benefit.
Lastly, you could create a custom Windows ISO yourself using a standard Windows 11 image from Microsoft. But, even that involves using scripts or tools, such as NTlite or MSMG Toolkit that you need to trust. Hence, explore at your own risk.
Save on Windows 11 Pro With This Deal
If you’re looking for a Windows 11 license for your new PC, this limited-time Windows 11 Pro deal brings the cost down to just $49.97. But you’re not just getting Windows 11 Pro – you’re also getting Microsoft Office Pro 2019, if you act by January 1, 2024. Overall, that’s an 87% savings. You’ll need to activate Windows after downloading it officially from Microsoft. Otherwise, you’ll have that pesky watermark at the bottom right of your screen.
This particular deal allows you to use select features only available in the Pro version of Windows 11: Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker encryption, Windows Sandbox, and more. Take advantage of this deal, and you will no longer need to hastily port Windows 11 Pro features to your Home version through a modified ISO image.
