A person may seek additional certification in certain fields if they; 1) currently hold an Alabama Professional Educator Certificate in a teaching field; AND 2) verifies 2-yrs classroom teaching experience in grades P-12; AND 3) passes the appropriate Alabama prescribed Praxis subject area test.

Connecticut participates in the NASDTEC Interstate Agreement and jurisdiction-specific requirements for an inexperienced teacher with less than 30 months of experience within the past 10 years under an appropriate certificate include: 1. Documentation of completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; 2. Recommendation from state-approved teacher preparation program documenting completion of a program; 3. Verification of appropriate experience under a teaching certificate from the district(s) where service was provided (if applicable); 4. Copy of an appropriate certificate covering service time (if applicable); and 5. Successful passage of state-adopted or equivalent out-of-state assessments (unless exempted per statute).

For MEd students – Applicants requesting endorsements to serve as an intermediate administrator or supervisor, a superintendent of schools, or a reading and language arts consultant must complete a state-approved planned program of educator preparation at an accredited college or university, leading to a formal institutional recommendation for certification.

Illinois participates in the NASDTEC Interstate Agreement and provides a Professional Educator License (PEL) Checklist for Out of State Applicants which states that upon evaluation, additional documentation may be requested by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) prior to the license being issued. The process includes creating an account; consideration for all areas listed on the valid, comparable out of state license; official transcript; and a copy of the valid out of state license. Passing any subject matter MTEL test(s.; 3. For core academic licenses, possession of a Sheltered English Immersion (SEI. Endorsement. SEI is required for an Initial (level 3. license, those that pass the test can get a preliminary (level 1. license and advance when they earn SEI.

The SNHU School of Education works with students to help them identify which MTEL exams they need to take that meet both the New Hampshire and Massachusetts testing requirements since Massachusetts does not recognize Praxis, however the New Hampshire Department of Education recognizes MTEL exams in lieu of Praxis.

Minnesota only requires the passing of content and pedagogy exams for individuals licensed based on teacher preparation from another state. For some licensure areas, specifically in low-incidence special education fields, the content test taken outside of Minnesota may meet their requirement. Additionally, an individual with a professional license from another state that has not completed teacher preparation, may meet the requirements of a Minnesota Tier 3 license if they also have 2 years of teaching experience.

All jurisdictions that participate in the NASDTEC Interstate Agreement may choose to have additional requirements for educators who are coming from another jurisdiction. The additional requirements are known as "Jurisdiction Specific Requirements" (JSRs). When applicable these are noted in the State Specific Requirements column.

AIIMS Delhi does not prescribe a specific syllabus for its entrance examinations. In the case of the BSc exam, the standard is generally based on the curriculum of the 12th class as per the 10+2 scheme or an equivalent examination conducted by an Indian University/Board.

Typically, the syllabus for the AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing test includes questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Knowledge. For B.Sc. (Paramedical) courses, the syllabus covers subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, with candidates having the option to choose either the biology or mathematics part.

Regarding the syllabus for B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic), encompasses syllabus such as fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing (including Anatomy, Physiology, and pharmacology), Obstetrics Nursing and Midwifery, Paediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, and Professional Trends in Nursing.

As for M.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Courses, and M. Biotechnology Courses, AIIMS does not specify a syllabus. Typically, the entrance test syllabus is based on the subjects and syllabus covered during the undergraduate-level course.

About BOPEE

BOPEE is known as Board of professional entrance examination. BOPEE counseling is an important component when it comes to selection of candidates. Based on the counseling procedure, candidates should make a realistic assessment of their subject choices and preferences. The decision of their respective streams should be left to them and this choice of streams is allotted on the basis of their ranks and score.

The selection is strictly made on merit basis. The eligible candidates are determined by the rank in the entrance examination and allotment of streams and institutions is done as per the counseling. Rank wise counseling schedule is displayed on the website. No separate letter is sent to the students, they need to stay updated via the website. It is also important for the candidate to appear in person for the counseling sessions along with their respective admit cards and a bank draft of Rs 800. If however for some unavoidable reason it is not possible for the candidate to appear personally, he/she may send his/ her duly authorized representative with admit card, undertaking and authority letter to the effect that allotment made on the basis of choices indicated by such representative shall be binding on him/her. If a candidate does not appear for the counseling on the specified date but appears on a subsequent date within subsequent period of counseling schedule he/she will be allowed for such counseling. Though there are related conditions of such cases, but yes he/she will be allowed to attend the counseling sessions and choose his/her stream or subjects.

Apart from the counseling procedure, there is certain eligibility criterion that is set for the students appearing for these competitive examinations. It is mandatory for the students to secure at least 50 percent in their respective examinations and for the reserved category a minimum 45 per cent is set. As far as the application forms are concerned, students can apply online or they can download from the website, take a print out and fill it. After filling the form students are supposed to post it to the concerned address. Once the application forms are filled, students need to sit and prepare for the examination. Clearing competitive examinations is not a cake walk. Students need to work really hard and off course persistence is required when it comes to preparation of these examinations.

All these dos and don’ts are extremely important. This is because a proper code of conduct is required to conduct examinations.

CBSE Board test 2024: The date sheet for class 10 and class 12 board exams was released on Dec 13, 2023, by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The full date sheet is available on the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE board exams are going to be held in February 2024 and will end in March 2024. Almost a month of long exams will be conducted for class 10 and class 12 and there will be two shifts for the exams.

Do not leave the syllabus to be covered one night before the exam. Having too much to cover in very little time can cause stress. Start preparing in advance by dividing time and syllabus to cover it all thoroughly.

2. Avoid multitasking

Do not do multiple tasks at once. Multitasking increases the heart rate and blood pressure which causes stress. It can affect the quality of your work/preparation. Do one thing at a time by dividing tasks and time.

3. Avoid distractions

Many things happen around you and can cause distraction from the actual task. While preparing for exams, make sure to stay focused by avoiding distractions. One major distraction could be social media. Use the DND feature to stay away from social media notifications and increase your productivity.

4. Get enough sleep and eat healthy

A good night’s sleep is an important part of any human being’s life. It is important to have a deep refreshing sleep. Make sure to sleep on time and have adequate sleep as it refreshes you in the morning improving your concentration and memory. As much as sleep is important, a healthy diet is also necessary. Eat healthy food items to keep you from falling sick during the test season.

5. Practice meditation

While the stress of exams may take over your body, try to exhale it out. Practice meditation to keep your body relaxed as it helps in reducing stress. Try breathing exercises as well.

Linear Equations in Two Variables: Recall of linear equations in one variable. Introduction to the equation in two variables. Probability: History, Repeated experiments and observed frequency approach to probability. Focus is on empirical probability. (A long period of time to be devoted to group and to individual activities to motivate the concept; the experiments to be drawn from real-life situations, and from examples used in the chapter on statistics).

2023 Sets New Record for Number of CFP® Exam-Takers

WASHINGTON, Dec. 5, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- CFP Board today announced the results of the November 2023 CFP® Certification Exam. The test was administered during an October 31 to November 7 testing window to 3,386 candidates, with 4% of candidates testing remotely. The pass rate for the November test was 64%. A total of 9,839 candidates took the test in 2023, setting a new high for the number of CFP® exam-takers.

According to the November 2023 post-exam survey, the main reason exam-takers are pursuing CFP® certification is to demonstrate expertise in their job (78%), followed by to distinguish themselves as a fiduciary (66%). Of the exam-takers, 68% reported receiving some level of financial support from their employers during the CFP® certification process.

Registration for the CFP® test showed that 70% of November candidates are under 40 years old and 37% are under 30 years old. The 10 states with the most exam-takers were California, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Illinois, Arizona and Michigan, with 1,788 candidates from these states sitting for the exam.

Nearly 7 in 10 exam-takers who passed the CFP® test (69%) have an undergraduate finance or finance-related degree (business, economics or accounting). In addition, exam-takers who passed also come from diverse academic backgrounds such as science, communications/marketing and engineering.

"In 2023, they saw the highest number of exam-takers ever, signaling a growing demand for CFP® certification," said CFP Board CEO Kevin R. Keller, CAE. "Congratulations to all those who passed this rigorous exam. CFP® certification continues to be the standard for competent, ethical financial planning."

March 2024 Exam

The CFP® test is offered three times annually, in March, July and November. Registration for the March 2024 CFP® Certification test is now open. This test will be administered from March 12 to March 19, 2024. The registration deadline is February 27, and the Education Verification deadline is February 20. Testing appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. They therefore encourage individuals to register for the exam at least 60 days in advance for the best date and site availability.
